Before I ever started portrait photography, I always thought family photography had to be stuffy posed portraits, but when I look through my family photos, the ones that mean the most to me are the candid and unposed shots. They are the images that show real connection, emotion, and movement. Those are the photographs we look back at with true love and fond memories of. They may not be the perfect pose, but there's so much beauty in the imperfection.
