I live in Corcoran, Minnesota, with my husband Bob and my dog Tucker.

 

Before I met Bob, I would have told you I hated camping, but my how times have changed! Now some my favorite memories are of camping with friends and family. I also really enjoy going up to our property in Two Harbors as we slowly work towards developing the property and building an off-grid cabin. We have a transit van that we converted to a camper we enjoy road trips with. 

 

I also love plants and our vegetable garden! Over the last few years I've been learning to can to preserve our own food. We hope to grow most of our own food someday--something very important to us, especially since I was diagnosed with stage 4 renal cell carcinoma the end of 2025. I now try to make getting outside and eating whole foods a top priority, as well as spending more time with friends and family. Every day on this earth is a gift, and I try not to waste it.

 

I realized the                                           at a very young age. I attribute this to my grandfather who took it upon himself to photograph my childhood for as long as he was around. Unfortunately, he died when I was only 4 years old. I don't have many memories of him, and that's why my family photos mean so       much to me, and why I'm so passionate about family photography. I know how important family photos are to you, and I consider it a huge honor to be the one to capture your family's memories.
