Hi, I'm Amanda!

I am a family photographer for families that value

real connection,

adventure,

and

the little things in life.

I live in Edina, Minnesota, with my husband Bob and my dog Leonard.

Before I met Bob, I would have told you I hated camping and was terrified of rock climbing, but my how times have changed! Now some my favorite memories are of camping with friends and family and conquering my fears on the climbing wall. I also really enjoy going up to our property in Two Harbors as we slowly work towards developing the property and building an off-grid cabin.

I realized the                                           at a very young age. I attribute this to my grandfather who took it upon himself to photograph my childhood for as long as he was around. Unfortunately, he died when I was only 4 years old. I don't have many memories of him, and that's why my family photos mean so       much to me, and why I'm so passionate about family photography. I know how important family photos are to you, and I consider it a huge honor to be the one to capture your family's memories.

I really strive to make my family sessions fun and relaxing. I want you to leave feeling like you just spent some time together as a family rather than leaving a photo session. Hopefully there is a little bit of family bonding that occurs during our time together. My ultimate goal is to capture real, authentic moments and emotions, as well as a few traditional posed portraits. Each style serves a different purpose, and I truly value both!

If you want to look back at your family photos with fond memories that can be passed down from generation to generation, let's chat!
