Goodness how quickly time flies when you're an essential worker! I meant to write this post a while ago, but this is the first chance I've gotten. I thought I would pop on here to give a little update on how booking sessions will work from here on out!
Minnesota's Stay at Home order as been extended to May 4th. I typically would start booking outdoor sessions starting mid-May, but I'm already booked. The first availability I have is June.
Something I am now doing at time of booking is also scheduling a backup date for your session. During the months of September and October, backup dates will be scheduled for a weekday evening (rather than weekend), generally within a week or 2 of your initial session date. Summer and winter months will follow the same rules with the exception of the backup can be on the weekend. The reasoning behind this is fall is a busy time of year for family photos, and I need to be able to allow as many people the opportunity for weekend photos as possible. I hope you understand. :)
All of that said, I am still taking bookings, and now is the best time to schedule your fall session! I know that seems so far out there, but by booking your session now, you guarantee yourself a session during the best time of day in terms of light before someone else gets it!
